Recently I was on holiday in the city of Barcelona, and I came across some wonderful examples of graffiti. Out came the camera, and I began to shoot.
Love it or loathe it, graffiti is with us to stay. Historians often remind us that this way of creative expression is nothing new. The practice was very much a part of ancient societies, like Greece or Rome. Yet most countries have laws which generally restrict this practice. On a few occasions, selected artists are allowed the opportunity to present their work. I suspect that these images from Barcelona were probably done with the city's approval.
