Yes, you are allowed to take photos. They do not make easy for you to do so. When you consider the rather subdued lighting, it is always tricky. But the big problem for me is everything at the BM is behind glass, and this makes it difficult to take good photographs.
Have you noticed a distorion in the way the blog page appears. I now have to scroll way down to the bottom of the page to find the latest post, while the top is totally empty. The new version has also rearranged the way all my blogs were presented, photos out of sequence. Not good.
